We all start somewhere ...

Founded on May 23, 1990, Messiah Lutheran Church began as a mission church meeting in a rented union hall off Hwy 20. In 1993 Messiah laid the cornerstone on its church on Highway 72. While the “union hall” days are long past, Messiah’s mission to bring others to a relationship with Christ continues. Our Emblem

The cross, representing Christ’s resurrection and victory over death and sin is the center intersection of three circles. The fire symbolizes the Holy Spirit of the pentecost. The crown is a symbol of Christ, our Lord and savior. The shell represents Baptism.

Church Council

Messiah is faithfully led by members serving on on the Church Council of Representatives. These members help manage church ministries, finances, and facilities Messiah’s Church Council meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7 p.m.
